City Model Self-balancing Electric Scooter (US Plug)

What an exciting way to get out and about. This scooter can get you from one end of the warehouse (or other large buildings) to the other in minutes. It can also be used on hard paths around your property, the applications for these scooters are endless.

The working principle of two wheel scooters is based on the principle called “dynamic stability” which is the automatic balance ability of the scooter itself. Using a gyroscope, the scooters electronic brain works out how to drive the scooter and keep it balanced. As a new transporter, it is difficult to classify in the traditional way. This scooter is called an Electric Personal Assistive Mobility Device (EPAMD). 

There are no brakes or throttle just changes of body center of gravity (or lean) will control the scooter. The scooters movement is controlled by how you lean your body. Lean forward and the scooter will move forward. To turn right move the handle right and lean right and the scooter turns right. 

Safety is built in as the scooter will not start moving unless you are standing on the scooter. If you come off the scooter will automatically stop. There is even a remote control to “lock” the scooter when not using or to change from “slow” to “fast” mode. You can even turn the lights on and off with the remote.

This scooter has been designed with city use in mind. It weighs just 38.5kg and has an adjustable handle to fit all sizes of people. Drive time will depend on the terrain and varies between 25-30km range. Maximum speed is 15km/h.
