I used two pipe wrenches to remove the prop shaft and it came off without a hitch. I then cut it down so only the nut portion was left and bolted it back onto my DLE-30. The prop adapter was a perfect fit. When I installed my 18-8 and fired up the engine, everything worked perfectly. My award winning PT-17 is back in the air!

I purchased two of this prop adapter from Hobbyking.
It certainly looks the part and fitted well to my DLE 30.
Howeverer after a short use with the 18 x 10 size prop, this adapter
developed a bend on the 10M bolt and I had trouble removing the retaining nut as the threads were easily damaged! Finally on closer inspection, the adapter is made SOFT mild steel including the bolt!
Disappointing considering safety and money value in a inferior product

use on DLE 30, was abit sceptical when ordering cos someone reviewed this not perfect fit on DLE 30 but hey its PERFECT fit man! Also this looks similar to the one valleyview rc is selling except for the color of prop washer. I have posted on discussion how to proper install this adaptor. Main things to take note: the hex part of the hub retaining nut after having its nose cut off must be trimmed down another 1.5 to 2mm, if you do not and force fit the adaptor with its back rubbing against the hub retaining nut, the adaptor base will be severely weakened

I'm using it on my RCG30 and is very good. You have to cut off the original shaft but the new one is perfect for the job.

I'm useing it with my DLE30. It needs to cut off crank shaft extension. and I think it dosen't match perfectly.
