Too big for a foamie

Got this to add a tailwheel to a foamie but found it was bigger than expected. The 'dimensions' in description really refer to the plastic base!



Some more useful info:

Weight: 8g

Height to wheel centre: 35mm

Length of wire above hinge (to attach/bend to ruder etc): 80mm

Base: 50mm long, 10.5mm high, 6mm wide at hinge end widening to 16mm at other end. Has 4 pre-drilled 2mm holes for screws.

Wire is 2mm diam as indicated - you will need at least one 2mm landing wheel stopper to hold your wheel on.



4/5 stars because the base really needs a washer or spacer to stop the spring scraping against it when turning, and it should really be supplied with a wheel stopper.
