Good putty, just ok part adherence

I have gotten the chance to only use this putty on PLA plastic, and with that plastic it doesn't bond the best.
It dries hard, and can be sanded/drilled. The putty is great, but it just wasn't very sticky, and kept pulling away from the plastic part.
