good plane flies great.... the motor pulled out of the base and destroyed the speed controller wires... may be something I didn't do, but apart from that it is a good plane that it worth the money.

The Bat: This model took a lot of trial and error but tonightBoom!...Pow!...Bam!...success! Great fun in little to no wind, loop, sorta roll, but can be flown slow, and dang itThe Bat just looks cool in the air! Posted a pic of the underbelly electronics setup under the file stab. This is not a beginner plane as one needs to be on the sticks all the time. I did not use the supplied servo hardware but I am sure it would work if required but I did not like how the push rods were to be set up as per the instruction. So I used some old GWS rods I had kicking around and cut to size. the Keep the control throws low; I am using 40pcnt for Ailerons (left-right) and 25 pcnt for up elevator and 20pcnt for down elevator. Dialed in -50 for expo all around and CG set at about 11 cm from one of the front tips and set it up just a tad nose heavy. I also ensured the plane was balanced laterally hence the bat on one side and the RX and ESC on the other. Rhino 2S 360 mah pack, Hitec optimum 6 lite (smallest RX I have), TURNIGY Plush 6A, and HXT500 5g servos. So I am probably running a little heavy with the 5g servos and RX but still flew great. Loops good but rollswell going to need to set up dual rates and see how that goes. Lockite the screws that secure the motor to the wood mount for sure. Quite rewarding to finally get it to flyGood luck!

What a laugh, with a tail heavy setup will loop on its own length !! Super simple build, but the carbon rods on mine where wrong, no biggie. Did not use the sticker set to save weight and I think that payed of, flys well at slow speeds but will bite if you don't pay attention. Not for beginners but its something fun and different for experienced flyers.

Lots of fun for such a low price. The motor came with some sort of 3-pin connector, but I cut that of and soldered it onto the ECS-wires. The propeller broke when mine got caught in the wind and got sent right into the ground, so I advise anybody who buys this to buy some spare propeller, and to stay away from heavy winds.

I would buy another one of these just because they are fun to fly once you get the bugs out.Expo down a bit.Flys great with a 5" prop.Place battery all the way forward left lower side facing away from you.Choose a calm day for test flight.I removed one crown because instructions were wrong about C of G and hinge tape poorly applied.Hot glue gun and some practice is all it takes. Can't go wrong for the money.

mine arrived yesterday great packaging. assembly was easy and fast i used the recommended servos, esc, battery but used my 9x receiver. the prop kept on flying off so i removed it and used a folding prop from a mini swift. the plane fly's really easy just be careful to set dual rates and expo it's very sensitive but man does it fly good landings are a breeze to! im not to sure if it would suit a beginner but it may if you take it easy, the other good thing is you can trace it on paper and make spare parts from depron or other foam..

wow this is such a great plane and there is alot of little tricks to make it even better i cant wait to see what people do with it. maybe a 3s and a 3000kv 2730hexatronic 30amp esc/3bec upgrade to make the turbo bat! well i really want to see a bigger one since ive created a under foil that cures the stabilization pitchyness using two foam rails from 9mm epp! works as a low pass fast flyer slowflyer trick plane dive bommer i can go on! im buying another!!! tommy

more than i ever expected! it flew so effitiently i was up for 15 min on a two cell 450mah. also is a little pitchy but some foam rails following the inside curve stabilizes the bat nicly start at around two inches high in the front sloping to 0 in the rear creating a foil for your bat to ride on then do low passes all day long! it really flies better than most big planes i love it and will surley buy another!

Looks good. Came in great shape.

Only complaint is that the motor has a small connector for connecting to the esc, but the recommended esc is just bear wires, so I have to go to my local shop to get the needed connector
