Got mine today. totally satisfied with the design.

Though with some additional mod's such as strenghthening the landing gear and engine mount, should make this beau withstand the rigors of landing.

I strongly suggest to reinforce the motor mount with some epoxy if you use a more powerful engine. Also the landing gear mount on the fuselage need to be stiffened up with some epoxy. The Canopy need to have a more secure mount somewhere, otherwise it will not stay in place during flight. The magnets are not strong enough.



With the 13x6 prop and the 40A ESC the motor outputs 559W / 57A. (Measured with an eagle tree logger)

love this plane fly extremely well good hover and roll rate glides like a house brick but its getting better now ive lightened it gone from 1047gr 37oz to 945gr 33oz auw gone is the 42-40a 900kv 13x8 1800mah 20c added 35-36b 1300kv 10x3.8 1000mah its not up for a long time but its a fun time not to sure about the under carrage strength look pretty flimsy hasnt let go yet.

Hallo, hier eens een nederlandstalige versie: Ik heb vorige week deze prachtige bouwkit ongeschonden ontvangen en deze was na 2 avondjes werk vliegklaar !! perfecte ARF voor een ongelofelijke prijs. Ik kon dit weekend niet testen wegens slechte weer, en hoop op volgende week. Een echte aanrader !!!!

this is a 25oz plane, not a 4lb plane in the specs , so size your motor appropriately.

the plane arrived in top condition the same a s the spitfire i also purchased here, i brought it with the turnigy brushless motor 35-36c, with10x7 apc the power is unbelievable using a turnigy 40amp speed controller and a 3700mah lipo 3 cell , all i have to say is this is where i get all my rc from, next will be the yak55. 50size.
