The ToolkitRC M8D is a powerful, versatile, touch-screen unit that integrates functions such as charging, discharging, and balance management for a range of battery types. The M8D is also a dual charger, so it can charge 2 batteries at a time, and these can be different voltages and chemistries. The M8D is a DC unit only, so requires an input voltage of 10~49V DC, this makes it perfect for charging at the flying field, race track, or boating lake. For use in the workshop, it can also be connected to a suitable mains power supply.
The M8D can charge a wide variety of different chemistry batteries at up to 800W@30A per channel, these include LiPo, LiHV, LiFe, LTO, and Li-ion @ 1~8S, NiMh @ 1~20S, and Pb @ 1~15S. It is simple to use, has a large easy-to-read, wide angle, backlit IPS 3.5"480x320 pixel full-color LCD touch-screen that is foldable, and an easy-to-use rotary/press knob for selecting parameters. It has a DC XT90 input socket for power, and its outputs include 2 XT60 charging ports, 2 2~8S balance ports, a 65W fast-charge USB port, and a slot for a micro SD card. When required, the powerful, twin, intelligent, high-flow cooling fans cut in when the internal temperatures of the charger exceed 43°C. The M8D also includes a "Synchronous" mode, in this mode you can link up the 2 output ports to charge one battery at a staggering 50A@1600W.
The ToolkitRC M8D can charge, balance charge, discharge, and store, it can also be set to safely dispose of a battery by completely draining it of its voltage. This charger/discharger is a must for every modeler due to its incredible charging power, and its easy-to-use, intuitive programming menus.
