Sent .28 box with .21 engine !!!

Being very satisfied with my previous .21 trackstar,I decided to buy the .28 engine for truggy.Shipping was fast but when i opened the already opened box , i measured it up and it was definitely a .21 I wanted to return it but hobbyking wont pay return shipping and only give 80 percent of my money back.If you buy this engine be sure they send you the right one!!!

I picked up this engine out of curiosity. The quality was fairly nice. No frills packaging. The factory settings fired right up I had to do very little for high altitude. After an 8 tank break in. It's been very reliable always firing right up. I find it's advertised 3 h.p hard to believe. But the power is very linear and usable. Perfectly capable and a great choice for cost effective club truggy or to bash. I've got just over a gallon of Traxxas 33% nitro through it. No signs of fatigue still has pinch. I found an efna 053 works best for me for the pipe. I get just under 13minutes with a 150cc tank. All in all a great value. Infact I plan on buying 2 more real soon.

Worth every penny

I recently purchased this motor more out of curiosity than anything. That I've always wanted to put a .28 in my Mugen mbx7tr. I ordered it on a Tuesday it came as promised on Friday morning. Wrapped in a box no manual or stickers ( what do you expect at 78.13. I pulled out my reds r5r put it in , it fired up and had a perfect idol set for break-in. I gave it the Adam Drake break in method took it to the track after a couple more tanks it settled in for a race tune. It has alot of low end punch good through mid range would like a little more from the top. It may correct with a different pipe. For the price it's unbeatable and is completely competitive at the club level. I'm giving four stars but it may very well get 5 if I make it past 3 gallons
Won't go back to my Reds till it gets tired I'll keep ya posted

not 18.35mm / 17.60mm
engine start easily, idling well.. breaking 2 tanks no problem...
will update again after some test.. tq
