Motor gave up the ghost after 3 flights. It still spins but something (not the gearbox or prop nut) is slipping, so little power is generated. Whatever the problem is, it's inside the motor.

Very pleased with the quality and price. I plan to use 2 of them in a 200:1 scale model tug boat with 20mm diameter props. There is not alot of choice when it comes to brushless motors that are small and low rpm. HobbyKing may want to look into that one. I don't expect to use the full throttle range as a tug boat on the plane may just look odd.

Can be used as engine for 4G6 4#6, 4G3. Better than stock 003 or 005 but not as powerful as e.g. HP08. Runs with little vibration compared to an outrunner.

I did finally some measurements on 2 cells, with a not fully charged battery (this with a reason).

Anyway:

9x4.7SF 185gr 4170 2.91 7.52

9x6SF 208gr 3840 3.26 7.39

10x4.7SF 256gr 3480 4.09 7.26



(Do not trust much pitch of SF props, not always true).

Runs a bit to warm with a GWS 1047 on 3 cells. Works great on the 9047

Its great Quality and will probably work great for your application, but HK incorrectly listed its dimension and i was forced to remove the motor from the housing and directly connect the motor to my prop for my sukhoi.
