    This motor is for planes 400 to 600g with 3S lipo 1000 mAh 30C batteries. The efficiency is under 80% and i prefer the 1000kv version.

    Purchased 2 - 2830-800kv Turnigy motors. One came with mounting hardware (very handy) and the other did not, hence the 4 stars. The mounting screws are necessary since the 4 screws are not the same metric sizes. Otherwise the motors work fine.

    Installed two Turnigy 2830 800 kv motors in a Great Planes PBY. One motor is running rough due, I think, to getting it a little wet (fresh water), otherwise the motors work great. Good power for the price but no replacement bearings available.

    Disappointed by this motor, low power and I break the axis at 1st landing(no gear), would prefer cjoose another one

    This is the perfect motor to use on a charger rc flat foamy like the fusion or cr-1. A+
