Wont work on retracts, to much current draw by the servo for it to slow it down, just stops if you try to slow it.
only works one way on flaps, sadly on the up and not the down.Doesn't work for on servoless retracts all you get is a delay in movement no speed control at all. What I ended up doing was running a split lead to the rx, one direct to one retract so works at normal speed and then the other retract lead to this unit and adjusted the delay - as there is no speed control as such, so looks like on leg is coming up slower - its in a Spitfire so gives the effect but a little bit disappointed, or am I missing something!! Electronics not my strong point!I really love these & regularly add one to my International orders - I now have about a dozen installed in a range of models!...... They provide brilliant, realistic slow transition of flap servos for older transmitters, like my 2.8 converted Futaba FF9s that cant be programmed to do this at the TX for switched channels. Although my Tarranis TX can be programmed to transition switched channels slowly, for the sake of a fiver & a few grams, I still prefer to use this "hard wired" solution in the model itself.. One potentiometer sets the down transition time for all outputs another sets the up time & the third can reverse one output, to cater for physically mirrored servos.I really love these & regularly add one to my International orders - I now have about a dozen installed in a whole range of models !.... .. Servo transition time for all outputs is set on one potentiometer & one of the outputs can be reversed to cater for physically mirrored servos.This is my second servo speed regulator from HobbyKing, no problem both working perfect,switch1 & switch 2 Speed Settings slow fast works ok.CH3 normal and reverse sensitivity great on flaps and landing gearI was suprised how small this regulator is. It's very handy, basically a landing gear/gear door/flaps sequencer.Good product, what a nice design, must have for all RC plane model. It's so small and weight add like nothing...I own this product and I believe many of the previous posts are inaccurate. You cannot reverse a servo with this product. You CAN reverse the direction that the travels either fast or slow. ie: slow extend the landing gear and pull the gear back into the fuselage. 2. slow extend and retract 3. fast extend and a slow return to the fuselage. BUT NO SERVO DIRECTION REVERSESuch a clever little device. I run two transmitters in master-slave, but only one of them supports programming of flaps speed. This gadget allowed me to do the slow-down (even with separate speeds deploying and retracting) and also one of the three servo outputs is inverted, so I could remove a Y cable and the servo inverter I used previously, and I got my nice scale slow flaps, regardless of which transmitter is the master. And it only weighs 2.7gr! Really recommended, can't imagine how an improved product would be! You do need a male-male servo cable (some customers have said female-female but that is WRONG). They give a more realistic flight and are easy to use.
