Ideal battery for retro fitting a brushless setup into old nitro cars in my opinion... Compact dimensions, good capacity and a half decent power supply. It comes out a little larger than the average nitro fuel tank, so there is often ample room. I swap the connectors for XT60 plugs and away we go! Also has the added appeal of being a reasonable candidate for pairing up and retro fitting into 24v drill packs to upgrade your tired NiCD drill packs to LiPo...

The shrink wrap doesn't seem to durable (which is why I knocked a crown off for quality) and indeed it was splitting on two of my four batteries after a few uses (and the odd crash). Replaced with some "normal" extra large shrink wrap and that is much better at offering some protection to the unit.

I am using this in a Dustbuster cordless vacuum, to replace the tired NiCd 12V 1500mah pack. The pack performs as expected and has stayed balanced very well after the first few cycles. Exactly what I needed at a great cost!

This is a very nice battery. The fact that it is squared and compact makes adjusting your gravity center easier, as you are concentrating the weight of a battery in a smaller area thus enabling to put it all the way forward; forget about adding extra weight to achieve your gc, with this battery, weight distribution in your aircraft is easy as pie.

Well, I use about 12 batteries for my serveral innovator 450 helikopter in scale housings. My recommendation for Akkus: Current 10C, for 6 minute flight, use akkus at least 20C current, or 25C. 50 up to 100 cycle or max 3 years lifetime and there are gone over.

I tested two of these 4000 packs today on my 700mm tricopter.

20 min. flight time each,twice the time of my 3000 3s packs.

Truly a very good battery.

Super Akku! Eignet sich auf Grund seiner Bauform sehr gut fr Multikopter. Ich benutze diesen Akku fr meinen Quadrokopter und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Dass die Aussenhuelle nicht schwarz sondern blau ist, ist wohl eher nebenschlich.
