This Chargers has a few problems

I have had one of these chargers running for over two years on 25V running my Turing Mega Chargers without any sign of problems. No flashing of overload LED and fans run as required and unit runs cool.
I have had my 2nd one replaced under warranty following the typical failure described in the reviews for this item where it just stops working while in use. The replacement started flashing the overload LED when charging 4s x 4500 Mah batteries on my iMax chargers so I restricted it to charging at 3amps or less which stopped the overload and it ran without any sign of problems for 9 months and then stopped working. On inspection there was no visible sign of anything having cooked so not an overheat problem. The first faulty one had cooked and buckled the motherboard.
Big clap for the Product Specialist Team though as they have now replaced it with a Hobby King 540 watt Dual Output Charger. I decided there was no point continuing with the faulty product item.

Great power supply. Been using the first one for over a year now. Good value - can't buy anything locally for the same money. Going to use one on 25V with two Turnigy Mega chargers and the other on 15V with two iMax chargers.

Habe das gerät zwar grad ma seid zwei Tagen, mein erster Eindruck ist gut. Mal schauen wie es sich in der Zukunft zeigt. Mehr kann ich erst ma nichts dar über sagen.

I have used it with 400W Turnigy charger.

I did not realized that it only can supply 300w at 15v dc before I purchased it. Even for 15DC power supply, it can only supply about 200w at 15 v dc. If I try to supply 250W power with it, the voltage drops and the charger shows "low dc input error". The label "500W" should be removed since the most of the charger requires 15v DC input not 25 v DC...

After 1 or 2 years mine died. Just stopped working. Light in the on off switch but no out put power.. Everything looks ok inside. :(

my powersupply arrived with fan broken! Contacted HK "you need to send it to us and it may take 45 days for you to get back because we dont have spare fans in stock". wtf?!

Over priced, looks cool, is quite, does not last! had mine for 2 months and quit working. the Hobby King 30 amp P/S seems to work well and last longer! bought my Turnigy P/S before I read the reviews :( Read The Reviews! It died wile charging at 2.3 amps, nowhere near enough to stress this thing out. let's see what happens with unit #2............

I really wanted to like this power supply because of it's quality look and ease of use and it's quiet. But now I'm in the process of sending it back a second time for a replacement. I use it to power two Turnigy 200 watt chargers to charge two 1300mah batteries at 1.3 amps eacha total of 2.6 amps! I like HobbyKing and they have been good on the warranty but each time I ship it back is another 17 dollars. Would not recommend until they redesign product.

Bought the power supply to run one 200W 2channel charger. After about 10 charging cycles the power supply quit. I fear it's going to be quite some hassle and shipping cost to get the item replaced.

So far I can't recommend this power supply.

I received this PS to power 2 Turnigy 200 watt chargers. The first PS quit working after one week. $17 dollars to ship back and a month to receive replacement. This PS only has two switches. ON/OFF and 15V/25V. It's not rocket science to run it! Haven't tried the new one under full load yet. It visually matches the color scheme of the Turnigy 200 watt chargers (which are GREAT!)
