First impression for this motor is a well finished and strong motor, with powerfull magnets in it. However, during first tests on ground, i have discovered that the top cap of this motor (where the axis is) unscrew itself because there is no black screw at this place. if I had not discovered this fault, my plane would be destroyed.



So i strongly recommend to check this and glue the top cap with a bit of epoxy glue before flying with it.

Nice motor..as others have said, it is high cogging and difficult to turn the rotor by finger only.

I have been trying to get an accurate KV reading for this motor using the hobby king kv meter. I'm not sure what setting to put the poles at.
This motor has 18 legs on the stator and cogs 18 times.
If I set the kv meter to 6 poles, the KV comes to 1020 kv

All readings are max throttle, no load, 3 and 4S batteries.

Visual inspection of this motor showed some wires were very close to the internal rotor and possibly rubbing against it. I took off the endbell and tucked the wires back towards the stator.

With Turnigy plush 60 amp esc and Nano 3S 2200 45c following results:.....

10x7 => 63A 9.2V 580W 10,100rpm;.....

9x7 => 59A 9.6V 560W 12,510rpm;.....

9x6 => 55A 9.2V 506W 13,230rpm;.....

Impossible to run 9x6 on 4S as Amps draw = 70A at half throttle and motor get hot.

Nice motor but is not 1350kv, I think its somewhere around 1800kv so I would recommend a 6x5 prop on 3 or 4 cells for a ballistic plane.

kraftvoll und hochdrehend. leider hat sich der motor im zweitem steigflug aufgedreht.

Great. The cooling effect of the impeller should finally give this inrunner a place in more planes. Will be investing in a lower kv model to get the most out of it.

found a small discreancy w.r.t. the KV spec in real the motor provide 2150 Kv instead of 1350.
In any case is a great item but too much for my needs
I will keep in my storage area to use for such 3D plane.
