I bought this batter almost 2 years ago, and it still works ok. When I got the battery, the cells were 4.12, 4.11, and 3.9.... After a bit of balancing, I got this to work fine. I stored the battery for la little under 1 month, and when I checked it again, it was 3.8, 3.8 and 2.12! Somehow I got it working again, even though a cell was badly puffed up. Over 350 cycles later, the battery still works ok. It's dirt cheap, and you can't really complain about the sketchy quality, so it's worth it.

I think the way Hobby King has helped the rc market the most is by offering batteries at a price people can afford. These are great batteries and almost 6 amps, my tri can fly for 20 minutes and my FPV plane will do 40 minutes.

Just received three of these - delivered safely in one working day with the Parcelforce Express24 service.



Pretty well balanced as supplied - min/max cell differences were 0.004V / 0.008V / 0.012V respectively. The cables and 5.5mm connectors are massive - cable is 6mm OD and will not easily fit into more typical connectors such as the 4mm golds that I use (not to mention requiring a LOT of heat to solder). I know that 25C x 5800 mAh is 145A but in reality very few people are going to use these packs that way, so the option of slightly thinner cables would be nice (not to mention a bit lighter)!



Speaking of which the checked weights (in grams) after I'd managed to change the connectors were 479 / 482 / 484, which compares OK with the quoted 482 grams. Physical dimensions were spot on too.



So far the value for money looks excellent. I'll be using them at around 20A (3.5C) and charging at 1C so hopefully they'll have a decent lifespan.

These came perfectly balanced, and are not much heavier than a 4000 hardcase zippys i have. 8AWG wires. great price

Ive order 4 of these lipo! And i have a hitec x2 charger! How much amp can i charge these on??? Is 6.0A too much?

Got my two LiPo packs today, and no damage or defect cells included in my order. Looking forward to try them out in my Traxxas Spartan 6S Castle setup.. HobbyKing is the only place to buy LiPo with value for the money!
