Purchased for a low budget 450 quad for for my son. Out of the box there was a loose wire in the battery tray. Asked for a refund RMA for that but was able to fix without too much problem. The RMA was closed.

After a few time using the radio, channels 5 and 6 decided not to work, asked for the RMA to be opened and Mikee said no problem. Mikee also asked for a video to be uploaded showing the problem. I did that but HobbyKing has not reopened the RMA.

The product is defective and I sent a video showing the issue and now games with the RMA being reopened. What Gives HobbyKing?

Don't buy this transmitter. Look up "Turnigy 6XS Thro Stick" on YouTube to see why. The transmitter won't boot into the main menu unless the throttle stick is at 0, which is a nice safety feature. However, if you calibrate the sticks with the throttle any lower than dead-center you can end up calibrating the 0 position lower than the throttle stick will go. You used to be able to short the leads to fix it, but not anymore, so just don't buy it.

all in all a good cheap set up ideal for learners ,not had a model go out of range yet and easily had 600 meters range out of it so far, binding was simple .good product hk

Hi I do not recommend this radio. i bought one from hobbyking and after testing it in the ground that it works properly with my plane i tried to fly and loosing control. My plane that i flow for only two months was completely destroyed. I complaint to them and send them a pic of my plane and they only said to send them a video. How can i send them a video of a plane crashing because the radio is not working. lets said i made few orders in a short period of time including an airplane and now i order from other stores and not from them. Don't buy anything here. Go to other stores.

I have had this remote for over a year. The programming very limited compared to my 9x, it does not have expo a requirement for helicopters. I only purchased this for my fbl100, after which i bought the FHSS mod for my 9x which has expo, def makes a big difference for the FBL100 micro copter.
Nothing wrong with the quality, i ended up giving it to a nephew to use for his FBL100 and glider..
