Great quality for the price, turns smootly, draws 35Amps on a 3S 1500ma, it becomes sligtly hot with a 11x4.7 propeller.. Great valueI bought 4 of these, but 2 are bad. One will not spin up when the others do and I tried 3 esc's. The other threw a magnetic and will periodically bind and quit. I've been having a lot of trouble with HK's products lately and found Ebay and others a lot more compliant when dealing with duds.built is good, 2 way of installationDecided to try this motor on my new Mini Ultra Stick. I now have unlimited vertical with a 11-5.5 prop. I would recommend this for anyone that wants this kind of performance. Will be using this in my FliteTest Blunt Nose Versa Wing. With an 40A ESC (was laying around) and a 10x5 APC E prop, two 3C 2700MaH batteries in parallel. Should move it with authority.Great motor, I use for my PA Addiction 3D, turnigy plush 40A, 2200mA 3S,
APC 11x5.5, 9min flight time !today i tested the motor...set up 3s 2200 esc 40 amp prop 11x 5,5 apc eletric.
after 3 minutes of hovering the motor is burned out and the stator is on fire!!!

bad productJust had one of these seize up after 50 flights in a J-Power P-38 Lightning. Luckily was able to throttle back the other motor and dead stick belly land her with no damage.
Until now it's been an excellent motor; smooth and powerful with 9x7 Master Airscrew prop, 40A Turnigy Plush ESC and 4S ZIppy Compact 2700mAh 35C batteries.
It was a hot day today and the motors don't get much cooling airflow so they were worked quite hard. May order 2 more and replace the other as well, or go for a little slower motor to turn a 10x7 3-bladed prop.I am very very very disappointed from these motors. I bought 5 of them and 2 have a loose shaft. Two of the five motors vibrate a lot more than the rest. This is not such a big problem BUT when i tested with a 8.5x4.5 Prop one of the motors started smoking and burning at 25pcnt throttle.
I taught this was an upgrade from the NTM motors but this is VERY VERY bad. I am VERY disappointed ... i am NEVER gonna buy motors at hobbyking again .. i am sorry but I never saw a motor burning EVER. Dont waste your money and buy good quality from other brand.Shaft bent very easily after a mild crash. I had 2 of these motors, and both of them are now out of balance after the first use!
