I had the opportunity to compare this motor to the SK3 new version 2 motor with reversed shaft with the same setup in the same plane. Yep 60A ESC, 13x6 APC Electricprop, Hobbyking EPP YAK 55M, 1,25m wingspan. This motor is the absolute looser versus the newer the Version 2 Motor with the exact same specifications. It has only 70pcnt Power and runs really not smooth and is also much louder than his V2 brother. I do not know why thismotor has such a lower performance, but the newer Version 2 of this motor is the absolute winner in all cases. I will only buy the SK3 Version2 Motors in the future, for almost the same price they ran awesome smooth and have a really good punch.

Very good engine to power a glider-type HERON, weighing 1.7kg in FPV.
Propeller 12 * 6 with a 3700ma battery in 3s, it gives 38A.
And the model climbs at an angle of 80 .
1:00 flight.

Quality seems good. There is a lot of difference (dimensonal) with 800kv model.
Mine have 4mm shaft. Why? Spare part accessories has wrong collet (it is for 5mm shaft). Adpter with 3 hole is different from 800kv model. Why is there a lot of difference with 800kv model? I bought for change 800kv model from my sebart shark but I haveto do some work in the model for fit it (holes in the fire wall is not the same)

good power, enough for torque roll but keep your aircraft light...!

one problem, prop hub is not textured and will rip and turn when you try to tighten your prop bolt.

Great motor. This is my 3rd SK3 motor and they are all running perfectly. This is powering my Edge 540T EPP. WIth a 13x6.5 APC it is pulling 46A and putting out 475W. Plenty of power for the plane.

I Run this motor on a Multiplex Mentor with a Plush 60 on 3S and have been very happy with it. She pulls 45 amps with a APC 13x6.5 and 44 amps with a 12x8. I like the 12x8 a little better. Gives me a bit more top end but still pulls nice. I get a little over 8 minutes on a 3300 pack flying mostly 1/2 to 2/3 throttle.
