Hope it will be Replaced!I have been flying this motor on a Monolog 110 pattern plane for 2 years now. Running 8 cells through an 80 amp ESC. All up weight with batteries she runs in at 9 lbs. 3/4 throttle would and does pull this plane much to fast. PLENTY OF POWER!!! APC 16 x 12 prop works perfectly for this set up. Now if I could inject some form of talent serum.....Balance: good but not perfect. Bearings: good but can be smoother Durability: not good al all I do not trust this motor any more, it started making strange metal noises 2 flights ago. Puled it apart but could not find anything out of the ordinary. Ordered a good quality Hacker for my big planes. Smaller planes will remain on Turingy.Tengo varios SK3 pequeos con buenos resultados.
Pero este modelo es un desastre, en el primes vuelo salio disparada la campana del motor y salve el avin de milagro,. una vez puesta una arandela cerclip decente, y probar de nuevo, el motor empieza a realizar ruidos extraos,se sueltan los imanes y no hay forma de pegarlos ya, cada vez que se gira a altas revoluciones la fuerza centrifuga los desplaza.

So finally I've thrown this motor away.
The reason it's cheap is because frankly it's
rubbish, badly made, poor materials and
will give you nothing but grief.
I spent another 40 bucks on new bearings
when they failed after 5 flights. The magnets
then detached themselves from the can.
Finally the can started to split.
Sorry Hobby King I love your gear but this is
Oh dear 5 flights then the bearings collapse.
At least it landed OK.
So I ordered some decent SKF bearings and have installed them. Stay tuned for a further report.
The three bearings cost 63pcnt of the complete motor cost, perhaps that
should be taken into consideration when buying one of these.Ok so here's the story so far.
Although I'm a committed I.C. nut and have several small 30 sized and
3d foamy type lekky's, this is my first foray into larger stuff.
I intend this to go in my 69in QuiQue Yak 54 which at this present moment in time has my 'old' faithful YS110s sat in the nose.
As you can imagine the marrying of a 4.2kg aerobat with the lightest
MOST powerful engine in it's class always makes my giggle like a
schoolgirl whenever I take her to the flying field such is the sheer
power of the thing.
If you search you tube for 'Johnnies QQ Yak' you'll see what I mean.
I'm in the process of converting her to Electric with this motor and
an 8 cell setup with a dlux 120 amp hv esc but reserve the right to switch to ten cells later if the grin factor is not what I'm used to.
I'll keep popping back on here from time to time to update and explain my findings so keep your eyes peeled. I reckon she'll fly
her electrical maiden within the next week or so.
This motor that you're all looking at came to me beautifully boxed with a very nice set of fittings. I'm not too sure about the ten mm propeller adapter and have obtained an eight mm as a possible replacement subject to trying different propellers out with the setup.
I have used ecalc to obtain the rough set up figures but as this is a new(ish) motor I used the SK6354-13(250) in their database then

staat op een glasair weegt 6 kg. Zeer degelijke motor.My first SK3, bought with much trepidation because of some of the negative reviews.
8 flights in on 8s with a 19x8 in an extreme flight 70" extra can report myself very happy. Pulling 2300 watts - but rarely touch full throttle in flight. Am moving the motor to a 30cc Yak to give it a work out!
Will consider other motors from the range when I get around to replacing my Zenoah 62
