More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech Lipoly batteries were designed from the ground up with serious performance in mind. Utilising an advanced LiCo nano-technology substrate that allows electrons to pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. Lithium Polymer batteries are used in many RC hobby industries. Over the last few years, Lipo batteries have become the most popular battery choice for anyone looking for a longer run time and higher power.

Lipo batteries weigh less and can be made into almost any size or shape. Lipo batteries have higher capacities, hold more power and have a higher discharge rate, meaning they pack more punch. For safe use and storage of Lipo batteries, you need to follow the rules and treat the batteries with the respect they deserve.

The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives. The nanometer conductive additives form ultra-strong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.

These additives create the ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.

Bought four and one mid cell went on fire.

They pack these so hard that often kink battery cells so be sure to run on load soon as you receive them. I bought for project I did 18 months later after safe storage and had one go almost supernova. But I’ve never had any problem with turnigy batteries before so perhaps a random element. Will be replacing anyway.

I have been looking to find a battery that ca handle my 9" freestyle
Quad with 4 Brother Hobby T5 Pro 3115 1050kv.
These motors demand power like no other.
this is now my go to battery . the Quad pulls 220 Amps at full power and this battery takes it like a champ with no puffing.

Good Value in time for T-Rex 500

I already bought 2 of these batteries for my T-Rex 500 FBL.
It fits well under the canopy and I feel as I'am not flying a tucs as it's with the 3000 Mah.
I do only soft aerobatics. Against all odds they didn't puff at all.
I use these about 50 for the 4 past years.
I have both versions of these : HXT60 and HXT 4mm(red connector) in both case
did'nt see any difference in the amps draw or a warm connector.
Will buy 2 more before they dissapear from HK and at this price no regrets.
