I saw this starter at my friends at the field and starting even 60 cc gas engines without any hesitate with 4 cell lipo. Really nice and working well.

I really want to buy one, however out of stock. As soon as it arrives I am going to buy one.

Excellent starter. Mount a pair of racing NiMH packs in it and you'll be starting 50cc engines with EASE. The rear of the mount has Tamaya connectors to hook up two racing packs in series without ANY rewiring.



Use a bigger cone and it will turn over 50cc engines w/o problems ( more leverage than the small cones ). Don't use the "spin and bump" technique, not only is it hard on your spinners & starters but not necessary.



Note HK sells another almost identical unit with a square battery receptacle and larger cone... I have both... the latter with 4S cells.

No compre pensando em usar em um motor a gasolina, pode girar um 20, mas para o resto esquea. Comprei e uso para os motores glow, ai sim, gira um 160.

I have DLE 55 Gasoline Engine, I bought this item for my engine but it started not to work after one or two times. There is a problem of overheating. I dont recommend you to buy this item for DLE 55, DA 50 etc. and more stronger engines.

Bit small for my big hands. Does the job nicely. cranks over my ASP400 (65cc 5cly).



Check the grub screw that lock the cone to the shaft as mine came out.

Excellent! This thing can start a 50cc gas engine with a 4s pack. But you have to spin it up first before you put it on the spinner!

I found it very easy to use and starts my O.S 55 with ease.Tried It on a 0.S FS-200S which works great also.Using a Zippy 2200 mAh 4S1P 20C, with deans plug I put on & replaced the Tamyia plug.Why carry a field box?

I have taken this starter and I work him in a dle 30cc. in the 12 volts it turns to me him no very well, other hardly him you put the two batteries 7.2+7.2 volts. then it has a lot of force. can put also lipo 7.4+7.4 volts for more a lot of force.

muy bueno, pero asegurarse de apretar bien los tornillos prisioneros antes de usarlo. para eso se debe abrir la parte delantera y apretar la polea donde corre la correa, despues apretar bien el rotor exterior.

This is a good starter. Nice torque. A bit noisy though. the motor is quite thin and small. Best use is 2 cell Lipo 2600mah * 2 quantity. This has connectors at the back that will make the batteries in series. So use 2 2-cell Lipos 2500mah.

The battery holder will not hold anything more than 2600mah. it is small.
