    Turnigy MultiStar BLheli_32 ARM ESCs feature a proprietary firmware (Rumored to have been developed in DrEvils Lab) and deliver a smooth linear throttle response without sacrificing a rapid, crisp response to any throttle inputs.


    Turnigy MultiStar ESC's come pre-tinned, solder ready, all you need to do is adjust the wire lengths, solder on the type of battery connection of your choice and then solder on the motor wires. With their small lightweight design these ESC's will have you racing fast and at a very affordable price.

    Hard to configure without a flight controller

    Bought one for fixed airplane, considering low weight and the desired lack of BEC (have separate BEC). But it was not possible to configure it really with only transmitter and receiver, you need a flight controller and setup software for that, which was a disappointment. Good quality otherwise, sturdy cables and good solderings.

    Sturdy design, but no documentation at all

    I bought one of these as an experiment; I wanted to try it in a fixed wing 3D airplane due to its lower weight and higher current rating compared to the ESC I had (YEP30A). I made the big mistake to not check for documentation first, and only then order this ESC, which in retrospect wasn't intelligent, because there is no documentation on how the ESC is setup at delivery, and also no information on how to re-program it to obey your wishes. When I wired it up to the motor, it turns out that it had slow acceleration, perhaps suitable for heli, but not usable for airplanes. It also had some kind of power limiting active, so I only got a small fraction of the power the old ESC gave (20W instead of 311W). I contacted HK support but didn't receive more information, apparently they sell these in total confidence that the users magically know how to handle them; the term "self-explanatory" was used, thank you very much. Well, it was an experiment anyway, but it sure failed miserably and it's in the bin now :-) Apart from this, the quality looks good, sturdy cables, good solderings.
