Però alla minima toccata si rompono subito i cuscinetti e si piega l'albero , è un pò delicato .Montato su un combat profile 600gr con elica 8x5 apc e lipo 3s1500 5 minuti a fullthrottle , sale bene , però è delicato sia di albero che di cuscinetti , dura poco ma si sa ...... è un combat .BEWARE! When Hobbyking has a problem with an order their customer service sucks BIG TIME. I have had about 4 orders that didn't ship for days because they were out of stock on an item that I ordered and their online ordering system said it was in stock. Then it takes days for them to resolve the issue. If you are in a hurry for a big order, go elsewhere.Probably the nicest quality motor I've had from HK: no slop, good thick shaft and big bearings. The quality of the machining is excellent and the motor appears to be well balanced and smooth. Overall a very nice wee motor.A perfectly good motor for the price.Great motor, tons of power. I am using it as a replacement on my Pz P-51 gunfighter and i get full vertical with a 9-5 Prop.I got this outrunner to power by foam board Spitfire and I had no real expectations apart from it being the proper KV and supplying the proper thrust (according to the data sheet).
The engine arrived properly packaged in good order and looked properly brand new. All parts were included as specified and some quick bench testing showed that it worked well and consumed the proper amount of electricity when loaded.
The only thing that has let me down was that the soldering of the engine leads was done in a way that left a really sharp change in flexibility. As in, the tinning that leads up to the bullet connectors is very thick creating a very easy to bend and break point in the lead.
One of my engine leads got twisted and broke because of this, resulting in a non working engine. This is easily fixed with some soldering but it was not expected when the rest looked so good. My suggestion would be to not tin that much and use a longer shrink tube that covers the edge of the tinning.Using this motor to power up a Cessna 182 Deluxe with a 9x6 propeller. It almost climbs vertically!TIMO MOTOR RECOMENTO!!!!!!In the past I have had good quality motors with Turnigy. However their Park 450 1200kv motor (I just bought 2 of them) have strange mounting hole dimensions. There are 4 mounting holes taped into the back base. 2 holes accept a standard 4-40 screw and 2 accept something smaller than a standard 4-40. They supply 4 identical very short 4-40 countersunk screws for mounting. I need different (longer) mounting screws but a standard 4-40 screw only fits 2 holes and the other 2 holes require a smaller-than-standard screw diameter. Both motors have the same screw holes so it is not a machining error. What is the problem (or real size) with the "small" 4-40 holes?
