Looks very nice and sturdy but I haven't built it yet.

I purchased this frame telling myself it would worth 80 for a complete kit, and that carbon fiber and aluminum would be durable.
It is, durable. But de finition quality is questionable regarding to all the ajustements I had to do myself to make pieces matching together.

The yaw mechanism isn't the best but isn't the worse either. It does the job as long as you don't try to change servo to many times.

Despite all of this, it offers plenty of space and -this- is very very nice. I was able to mount everything on without having to try to save space everywhere.

this was my first frame for my first DIY build. It did the job but 80 is too damn much for this quality.

Comes in an oversized box. But the carbon parts are extremely well packaged, each item is wrapped in plastic sheet which prevents it from getting scratched. Very nicely made frame.

Frame itself it easy to bulild but had big problems getting the spring in. Until i turned the sheet over and tells you the easyway of doing it. Also the motor mounts have countersunk hole. but acording to the insctrictions these holes are at the top where the motor sits, so it looks like they have put the countersunk on the wrong side.

I absolutely love this tricopter and as I've told folks before I believe it's the best Tri platform available "to date"! I have owned 6 of them & I prefer the Naze 32 as the factory settings work great & a few adjustments to PID's & you have the coolest/funnest acro tricopter you can imagine. The "ONLY" weak link in the build is the left & right front booms due too the factory split in the booms for folding the frame, if you have a crash these booms generally break where the boom meets the mainframe... Other than that the parts are cheap & it looks really really nice when you pull the motor wires through the booms.. Watch my video- Turnigy Talon Tricopter COMPLETE LOOK

I set my Talon up with a Naze32 Acro flight control board, NTM 2826 1000 kv motors and 10x5 props. Battery is a 3s 2200 mah and the ESCs are Afro 20 amp units. Flies fantastically. It's very smooth and predictable, fast and responsive. Flips and rolls are easy and lots of fun. There is not much room for a clean electronics installation but, with a bit of care, I was able to get a very nice and clean installation. The Naze32 Acro board is fantastic and I highly recommend it. Be sure to watch the youtube videos on how to set that flight controller up, though. They make life much easier. I really really like my Talon and highly recommend this product. It is not exactly cheap, but it looks awesome and flies even better. Thanks HK! Gustavo Sganzerla, Brasilia, Brazil.

This is a great frame, the instruction for assembly leave a lot to be desired, but it is a good solid frame. I lost a prop at about 30 feet and no permanent damage to the frame. I'm planning to purchase another as a spare. I have only flown quads, I'm on the tricopter's now. Solid Frame.

Good value, spring mechanism is abit hard to work on.

Pros : Large top/bottom plate easy to mount, plenty spaces
Foldable

Cons : Some parts are pretty weak, such as front two booms and servo link.
Motor mount tends to bend quite easily

Rear boom doesn't hold properly, you might need to put a sponge or sticker on the bottom of rear boom to top-bottom plate of the frame to solve this problem.

GREAT FRAME. my first time building and flying a multicopter and this thing looks and handles amazing. im using 8in props with 1200kv motors on 3s and it hauls around my 4500mah 3s lipo and i get about 10 to 15 min flight. BUT ITS PROB THE BIGGEST BATT IT CAN FLY WITH. also carbon fiber doesn't like concrete much. any kind of harsh landing will start to chip and break the landing gear. i have flown heli's for about a year and decided to give this a try and this frame is nice. good luck have fun.
