About as smooth as a single cylinder gets.
Walbro carby adjust swell and idles well.

I got 2 for the price of one on the US warehouse closeout. Unfortunately, both had defects. one had a broken piston ring and the other had bad threads on the spark plug threads. Both defects were remedied for less than $50, without involving HK return or repairs. I replaced the broken ring from a DLA 30 ring from Tower and retaped the bad spark plug hole with a M2X10 tap purchased for about $20 from Amazon. Still so much more economical than other more expensive options.

I bought two of these when they were on closeout from the USA warehouse. One had a broken ring and bound up at TDC the other had improperly tapped plug hole in the head. I fixed the one with the broken ring with a DLE 30 ring from Tower and ordered a tap from a machine company M10X2 and retaped the plug hole so the plug could be properly repaired, both issues were remedied for less than $50. The first two I purchased at full price last year were perfect and work fine. Now I just need to find a reasonably priced ARF for all these nice engines.

TR-32 Gas engine

Unfortunately another one of the bad turnigy/rcgf engines. After unpacking, the piston was found to hit the cylinder head. Examination revealed a damaged piston and metal splinters in the cylinder head.
Only by using an extremely thick gasket could the piston stay clear of the cylinder head. I haven't been able to run the engine yet and I'm afraid the engine will deliver less power with less compression. Been buying more from Aliexpress lately because hobbyking often can't deliver. Very sorry.

Strong enough, decent machining,good price.
Has pretty Strong vibrations, torn my plane ailerons by ailerons, rudder and stabiliser hinges apart one by one, even my gas servo screws, Carburetor is very sensitive to adjust, Low speed în particular, had problems with Cdi and carb fuel leak. Overall a Strong competitor with more expensive engines, price relatez.

Acquistato piu' per sfida che interesse visto il prezzo assolutamente buono e qualche recensione negativa, a livello di finiture si potrebbe fare meglio, nello specifico il mozzo porta elica e' abbastanza grezzo e tagliente, le colonnine motore sovradimensionate e nei carter ho trovato qualche residuo di stampaggio, nel complesso ricorda un DLE prima serie, quindi assolutamente valido e onesto anche se non troppo rifinito.
Note liete sono la centralina Rcexl e il carburatore Tillotson.
A mio giudizio personale e' un motore assolutamente acquistabile a patto che si metta in preventivo il fatto di aprirlo completamente e fare una pulizia profonda, perche' all'interno ho trovato tantissimi residui di lavorazione, mai visti in nessun altro motore! Fatto questo diventa perfetto, rodaggio effettuato con carburazione ricca x circa 50 minuti a intervalli di 10/15 minuti, mix al 4% fatta con olio motul 710, non ha mai superato i 65/67 gradi centigradi! Per finire, capitolo eliche. Sconsiglio assolutamente di usare quelle riportate sulle specifiche ( 18x8 18x10) per arrivare ai famigerati "quasi" 8000 giri/min... per questi motori corrisponde a distruzione quasi certa ! Con una buona 20x8 si sta' nel range specifico dei canonici 7000/7200 che sono più che sufficienti per divertirsi e non stressare il motore inutilmente!

Purchased one of these a while ago, no issues and runs great. This one, not so. It has a cast crank case, not billet aluminum as stated. Sensor mounting screws not correct thread and one stripped out. Worse, was when running, 4 cycled constantly. After running yest on ignition unit, found it to be firing spark plug ounce every two magnet passes. Not as happy with this engine as the first. Having correcting issues, it runs well.
