I run this with a YEP100A with timing @ zero degrees and 8khz PWM, governor off, on a HK550 frame, 520mm blades with 11.4 pitch and it's fantastic for a good 6-7 mins of sports flying. Nice efficient motor, but the 15t 0.7M for 5mm shaft was a little hard to find - eventually found it on ebay. I have the little brothers for the 500 and 450 size helis which are sufficient power for those size... I know this one won't give me the power for hard 3D but I'm not there yet. Motor comes down luke warm and doesn't make the ESC break a sweat. If you need an efficient motor for 550/600 size this is probably it on those available here.

Used with turnigy 85amp esc. Works well with a lot of use. Direct fit into hk600 . Hk should supply the bolts to suit with their motors. Nothing worse than taking delivery of item and comming up 1 bolt short.

Unfortunately for me, the engine worked good for 2 filghts. at the 3rd flights it shut down suddenly. of course the heli crashed. I opened the motor and one of the 3 connections disconnected. Maybe it's just my bad luck, but I lost a lot of parts and money!!!

Great engine for the HK600GT. Its getting just a little bit warm when flying. Enough power for sport flying. Fits perfect into the HK600 chassis.

A super motor. I have been using it in my Gaui 550 for more than 12 months and over 500 flights and it is like new. Runs cool with plenty of power and super smooth and quiet. Flights over 8 minutes with a 6S 3300 Mah Batt. Highly recommended.

Maybe I was just out of luck, but after about 5 flights one magnet came lose. F***ed up the motor completely inside, but managed to autorotate with no damage to the heli.

Despite this, I will try another one of these, since average rating is good. When the motor worked I was happy with it... just enough power for easy flying such as loops and rolls, no hard 3D.

got this motor hopeing it would be like the typhoon 500 heli motor.. it doesent have the power for 3d in my 600 like the 500 motor does. great motor for learning colective pitch control when you do piros and large loops it handles smooth and holds a low headspeed for people that prefer light 3d and sport flying unlike me. not really happy with it overall
