I fitted this to a depron SE5A with an 8x4 apc prop. It has about 30 flights on it now, has never missed a beat and always comes down cool. The plane takes off like a rocket too!

purchased this as a replacement motor in my Phoenix 2000 glider, I had to push the drive shaft through to other side to allow fitting, but not a problem. Initial set up using a 3s 1300 fully charged battery and a 10x6 carbon folding prop provided the following results 53 amps and 370 watts, far too much for this motor, then swapped the prop for a 9x5 and got the following 24 amps and 275 watts.

Havenow flown this combination on a number of occassions and it works great, good rate of climb and then switch off motor for a good Gliding session, this is a glider after all and NOT intended as a hotliner

Motor lacks quality. 1000kV seems to be an underestimate... maybe more like 1400kV. Installed it on phoenix 1600 glider, ran it with stock 10x6 prop and burnt out in 2 minutes. I should have checked the wattage... my bad. Purchased a new prop 9.5 x 5. Anyway, got a second motor and this time the windings weren't as tight as the last one... some loose wires near the top. When I gave it full throttle there was some wicked vibrations hard to know where this was coming from. When being very gentle with the throttle the motor would still get way too hot to touch.

Now running NTM 35-30 1100kV with variety of props and works as I would expect and is just warm to the touch after throwing the plane around.

put this motor in my phoenix 1600 glider with 9 x6 prop motor runs cool and has heaps of power would highly recommend this motor

Overall good motor which I use in Graupner Elektro-Trainer (total weight above 1 kg). With 3s battery and 10x5 prop the plane is not overpowered - unlimited vertical flight is not possible but basic aerobatic maneuvers are fine. After more than 30 flights I can feel some play on the bearings and also the motor gets warm after 10 mins flight. So it is not the highest quality product but will serve for some time.

No tuve tiempo de nada, en su segundo uso se quem. no vuelvo a comprar estos motores de bajo precio. Ya tengo 6 desechados.
Aqui mismo consigue de mejor calidad, gastese unos 3 o 4 dolares de mas y compre algo que valga la pena.

I bought this motor several years ago and finally had an application for it . I installed it on a speed build Flite test spitfire. Awesome motor with plenty of power ! I reversed the shaft for this build which was no big deal . This motor runs like a champ , I paired it up with a 30amp plush ESC and a Turnigy 2200 mah battery .
