im useing a this with the 8xj

and the range is great "I have my transmitter mounted on a pole" im flying like 3/4 of a mile away and its holding strong. my fpv video tranmitter starts to cut out at 3/4 of a mile so i realy don't know how far it will acualy go

This internal antenna Assan receiver is going to get used as my F5B "control receiver and programming receiver. Quality probably as good as all the other assan, ie excellent.

The 2.4GHz systems are not compatible among brands (unlike the old ppm), so once you have chosen one brand, you have to stick to it.

Before deciding with which brand I would like to go in the 2.4GHz world, I have purchased receivers of many brands (Spektrum, Futaba, Jeti, Assan, etc...) to measure, disassemble and evaluate the technology (I am electrical engineer).

This one is certainly the worst I have seen...

First generation, poor Quality.

All Assan TX and Rx are reliable and certainly a good buy. I have all my fleet (6 airplanes) from small indoor foamy to a big 28% Yak 54. Never had any problem.



I have a Futaba 9cup. You need to buy de Tx module from Assan then you can binding with any Rx from assan.

it is not compatible to futaba fassst and not compatible to other transmitter. only assan transmitter. but it is very nice
