They're batteries.

Lipo batteries, bare wire ended, so no problem fitting plugs that match the rest of my kit, without fiddling about with adaptors or cutting the 'wrong' ones off.
So far they still seem t be working as intended!

We use 3 DIY electric bikes to get around the farm. Use 4 three cell lipos in series for 48 volt 1000watt motors. Get 12+ miles highway, much less off road, but easily get 3 two mile round trips to the back 40. Have used several brands of 5000 3s batteries, and these hold up to heavy use the best. Fast charge at 10amps each in 35 minutes. Sometimes cycle the batteries 3 times in one busy day.

Decent budget packs

These are an EXACT fit for the battery bay in the 1875mm B-17 (a nice firm push fit, no trimming of foam, no Velcro or strap needed). They perform fine in this model (pulling approx 60A on full throttle) and are good value for money. Would be nice if they came with an XT 60 plug though ... nobody uses 5.5mm bullets nowadays!
