The ZOHD Dart XL FPV flying wing airplane offers incredible lifting power, excellent handling, and portability, making it the ideal choice for long-range FPV flying. This "Enhanced Version" features a newly designed motor mount, a GPS bay with cover, built-in carbon fiber for strength, a new optimized airfoil, and a strengthened battery bay. The Dart XL incorporates Vortex generators and a swept forward wing for improved handling, lift efficiency, and yaw stability. It also has a computer-designed airflow pod that maximizes the cooling to all the onboard equipment to minimize overheating electronics and reduce the risk of failure. The vertical fins are detachable, making it much easier to transport to those out-of-the-way places for the best FPV experiences.

The Dart XL has been designed specifically for FPV flying, its composite, crash-resistant nose camera bay is large enough to take the popular HD Action cameras on the market today such as GoPro, DJI, Swift, and RunCam. It is manufactured in tough EPP foam and the pushrods use a high-quality ball link system, which provides an agile, and quick response to your control input commands. Another feature is that the servo arms have built-in protection on the wings to protect the servo in the event of a hard impact.

This is the PNF (Plug-and-Fly) version of the Dart XL. Unlike the basic kit, this version comes with the high-performance powertrain and electronics already pre-installed and factory-tuned. It includes a powerful 2216-1300KV motor, a 40A ESC with 5V3A BEC, 9g metal-geared servos, and a 9x4.5 propeller. This drastically reduces your build time—from the moment you open the box, you’re only a few simple assembly steps away from your first launch.

Features:
• Small size airframe optimized for long range FPV and portability.
• Carefully chosen airfoil gives the aircraft an incredible lift power and excellent handling
• Detachable wing and vertical fins make it portable for an easy transport and deploy
• Light-weight composite hard nose for better protection of your expensive camera gear
• Multi-camera nose compatible with 99% of the FPV and HD cameras in the market: Runcam HD, 2, 3S, Swift, Split, GoPro H4-5-6-7, Session and much more!
• Reversed wingtips, provide more lift force and ensure a super efficient wing surface
• Vortex generators for improving lift efficiency and gain higher control at low speeds.Use them straight and you will have even better Yaw stability!
• Load it as much you want with a huge equipment bay!
• Computer designed optimized airflow pod, that maximizes cooling, reducing the risk of crashes for overheated electronics
• Impact resistant protection cover for main wings leading edge and landing skids
• Built-in carbon fiber tube inside main wings for enhanced performance and rigidity
