So I put these on my slash 4 by 4 it was easy to set up and looked good too everything hobby shop should have don't like this kind of merchandise to dress up RCs for cheap prices like HobbyKing thank-you HobbyKing

I have had this Light Bar for some time now and it doesn't get old. I get a lot of compliments on my vehicle. I just wish someone would come up with a way to control it remotely. I modified an old servo control to turn it on and off with my 3rd channel. All in all a nice little add-on.

The button control flashing mode for front and back, respectively (one each).

The selected mode is not stored on power off.

One side has 8 yellow/amber leds, the other 4 red and 4 blue.

Each has 9 different flashing modes, but the lists seem to be reversed. To have the same mode on both sides, you need to press the button once for side a and 8 times for side b!

LEDs have lenses and are quite bright, they are SMD types and sit on small pcb stripes mounted 90s on a control board. Mine were not really in a line, when you look in the beams you'll notice some lamps are dim, because they have small angles.

The bottom of this control board is flat, the cable hole is slightly out of center, the board is shorter than the case.

The case is clear plastic with a silver painted top, but needs a little dremel work: the screw tunnels are to wide to fit between the LED pcbs.

Very good item.
Easy to attach, and you can get power from your battery's balance plug if you are using 2s/3s.

The only reason i wont give 5 stars is that the police bar itself is only covered on one side. Its completely open on the bottom, wich means exposed to dirt/water.
If it was in a solid enclosure, then 5 out of 5.

Excellent piece of Bling, fit it to any model easy to put together and to mount, dont restrict yourself to the top of a car, let your imagination flow and use it on any type of RC model. Light weight and slim compact build lends itself to many other projects apart from cars, mounted side ways ie in line with the fuselage of and airplane or helicopter really aids the identification of where the craft is at any stage just good kit and really cheap for what it is.

Arrived in a nice display pack with basic instuctions. I was able to run these from the blaance port of my lipo battery. These lights have an operating Voltage of 3-12v. One button controls the front red and blue lights and the other is for the rear amber lights. The bottom of the lights are open and should be covered to prevent dust and debry from getting in the housing. I used a dremel to cut a bottom plate out of the case that came with the lights and sealed it with some clear RTV. The case could easily be cut with a hobby knife also.

Fantastic item. I use them all the time. In planes, in quadcopters, in cars, in boats - you name it. Nice durable gadget.
