In General, the motor is not bad, but has a big drawback, the wire output from the stator is loose and with a slight tension can come off. What happened with me. For mu in the Assembly of motor winding wire was pinched by the motor housing, in the end, it all worked for 2-3 minutes.

These motors offer very smooth and silent operation. They work perfectly for the roll and pitch axises of a GoPro sized gimbal (I can imagine it would work exceptionally for the Mobius cam also).

***One thing to be careful of is splicing the wires or windings by over tightening mount screws on the motor causing them to go too deep.***

I used this motor for my custom 3 axis gimbal. Motor are so smooth compare with other motors that I tried. The only complain I have is the wire. They should use softter silicon and wish it come black rather than server colored wire. It's ugly to to see it on my custom gimbal and need to cut it and replaced. Please HK, release a version with different wire.

Small cheap powerful gimbal motor. The shaft does stick out 1mm so have to plan around that.

Bottom holes center to center: 16mm and 19mm (this is the stator side of the motor with M3 bolt holes, typical distance of brushless motor mounting holes). Top holes center to center: 12mm (this is the can side of the motor with magnets and the bolt holes are for M2 bolts). Also, Length B is actually 18mm, Total Length E is correct at 19mm as the shaft protrudes 1 mm from the bottom.

Perfect motor for the GoPro Hero3.
Smooth and silent. Use this for pitch and the bigger motor for roll.
My gimbal with board, motors, gimbal and GoPro only weights 216 grams.

Motors arrived quickly and looks exactly as pictured! The TOP mounting holes are M2, and the bottom are M3 and are perfect threads in the locations the spec says.
Gimbal is super smooth and if you have the balance correct you can have something a bit larger than the GoPro no problem! (I use heavier GoPro Hero (original)). Only gripe is that one of the motors had 1 loop that had fallen off the end of the strator and was touching the magnet (you can hear it knocking) but the motor was easy to open and put the coil back (with a tiny dab of glue) and its perfect now! Also shaft looks very easy to replace with a longer one if you want to have it in reversed config.
Overall, great bargain, very light and compact, build quality is good!
