How is everyone mounting these? I put them on with hot glue and within 60 seconds it melted the hot glue completely and they started falling off. Trying to stop it and unplug the battery caused me to burn my fingers on the hot glue.
Also the LED's are mounted a bit crooked, and I have 1 LED that doesnt want to turn on all the way. I'm afraid of using plastic tie straps, are they going to melt? How should they be mounted?Very bright, stick to this 3 LED version. The 4 LED version is terrible and barely lights up at all. This one is actually TOO bright if anything. Anyways, good stuff...Very bright, learned this when my quad flipped in front of me and I caught 6 sets of leds to my eyes.not very bright unless you get the angle just right, they are focused LED's, not good for much more than trivial decorations. These lights are much brighter than I had imagined. There appears to be a brighter focal area directly above the 3 LED's that allowed me to illuminate a large green circle (clearly visible) on my wall with all the house lights on.
I have mounted the lights on a hovercraft which allows easy operation outside at night time (so long as you know where the hazards are). Powered through a spare servo channel from the receiver (~5V) the light through the plastic chassis is clearly visible from afar.
Great units, I would recommend.
I also bought white & red as well and am looking forward to trying my hand at night flying rc aircraft.Bonne luminosit et super prix!
