I've owned one of these for some time and I run it on an AXI MiniAC 1215/12 and 3S 1400mA 20C Lipo. This setup delivers approx 200W.



This battery sits at the rearmost possible position under the cockpit in order to achieve the correct C of G and therefore care should be excercised in battery selection.



As with all Alfa models, the superb aerodynamics of the design deliver superb handling over a wide range of speed. This is a slippery quick model.



Make sure you balance the fan in order to get maximum performance.



Alfa do mention using the coarser impeller from the next fan size up which can absorb more energy and use a more powerful motor. I opted for a 200W setup on the supplied fan to keep the weight down in order to minimise launch problems minimise landing speed.

I purchased the Skyhawk and I am pleased with the service and the product. I ordered a Blue Angel F19 on May 6 . It was backordered after payment of $141.73 and 5/28 I was informed that they will NOT be receiving any more F-18s. NO refund or correspondence has been received as of 5/29. I am p#$$^*!

I was lucky enough to get this on the Super Special @$136.85. Ordered 13thMay, dispatched on the 15th and arrived at my door in Canada on the 23rd May. Wonderful model, well packed, in perfect condition. My motor from Don's RC US ordered 14th and also arrived 23rd May, the same day.

It is very beautifully made.

I am very satisfied.

I drove this airplane by the following setting.

Weight became 480g.

Three braids of the attachment were used for EDF.

The maximum current is 15A.

I think that 120Kmh or more has gone out of the speed.

This is the same product available from US site but at a great attractive price. Price of kit plus shipping here is the same as ordering just the kit alone from US site! Got my kit delivered without a scratch.

I bought one of these not from this site.very fast jet when powered by the SCREAMERS motor.needs a lond take off strip and bit trickey to hand launch.very satisfying to fly though,even on 3cell 2100mah.though 4cell is needed for vertical capabilities.
