It is hard to find 3 mm music wire here in the US. You can get 3.175 (one eighth inch). I, therefore, use these for landing gear struts. They are especially good for attaching oleo legs to retracts. All you need is a cutoff wheel to get it to length. This way no need to drill or modify your retracts or struts in any way. I have not used these as push-rods or braces so I am unable to comment on their suitability for those uses.
