One of the ordered units gear box failed so reordered retracts. overall the units are well engineered and constructed and work well.
the voltage range is a little low at 4.8-7.4 volt when most receivers work at 9 volts requiring the use of either a lower voltage receiver battery or a second battery for the retracts. overall I am happy with the product

During my first bench test, one unit worked and one unit failed. Considering how long it takes to receive these items, I'm expecting the warranty claim will be quite a challenge.

Purchased two units. Put them both on a servo tester and one unit failed after 3 cycles. The other one is still OK. It appears to be a weakness in the circuit board as the motor will still operate if partially disassembled. It just won't reverse. Poor quality control Hobbyking.

These looked good on paper, and felt good in hand. They operate decently - until I put a robart strut @180mm and a 5" wheel on them. Both retract units stripped the gearing on the first activation. My sense of humor is bent pretty badly.

These appear to be solid on the surface - but the gear train is not sufficient to work with Giant Scale tires.

Very poor quality . The gear failed at first test with no load.Is only an impression of strong built in fact is a very weak mechanism.

POOR QUALITY. Bought one for a front wheel on a PC21. Could make it operating twice at workshop then BURNED OUT ...
Seems end sensor in retract position faulty ...

Listed dimensions are mostly accurate. Top plate is 59mm x 42mm, 35mm tall overall. Base is 27.5mm wide and 89mm long, including the motor. Retracts do not change position at power up, regardless of switch position, so your plane won't drop to the round when you switch on your receiver. Each unit weighs 142g.

Very strong. Tested with a 2S life powering the receiver... I have not been able to trip the overload protection by hand ... I'd probably have to jam them with a screwdriver!

Bought a pair of these and one of the 100-degree units. I' hoping they'll fit my ESM DO-335...
