These struts are Great! Much better than the ProLink gear that always side load and wear out in one season. Prolink knows the weak spots and will not fix them so you have to pay $80 a strut every year!! if you fly from grass. With these struts the forces are directed evenly and straight down the middle. Only one problem... the Spring is WAY TO SOFT. You need to add a 20lb spring to each strut if you have a 20lb plane.(yes thats double for hard landings) Had the springs been stronger... this would be a 5 star product. Im using them on my Xcalibur Jet now.

Aluminum appears to be very soft as is the spring. quite loose at all joints so will shim up with brass tubing to increase wear ability. Shouldn't have to do this for the price which should be closer to $10 usd.

For the size of plane you use these for, spring has to be stronger. but very well made product. I just go to local store to find stronger spring

Decent quality and construction, I had problems with the springs being too weak for an approx 3.5KG Piper commanche, I had to use different springs from a hardware store to get them working properly.... still good value though.
