Visual quality is good. I bought an antenna for the radio controls.

Its very convenient to fix on a tripod or a ground station.

Good price! it is very big (18cmx21cm and 4,5cm deep). It is also way too heavy to fit on an antenna tracker

Tested this antenna.

My testfield without obstacles is 500m long, at 500m theres a mound and I can go 50m further, but then I couldn`t see the house where the transmitter was in the 2. floor window.

Used the HK 100mW transmitter with a homemade RHCP cloverleaf-antenna and I got a nice, absolute clear picture 500m away when. At 550m I had to hold the antenna still at right spot cause of the mound to get a clear picture. Ground range tests give very short range compared to aerial range so it will reach much longer.

I noticed that I had to hold antenna 125-130cm over ground to get best picture.

Test review of this antenna : it is very big (18cmx21cm and 4,5cm deep). It is also way too heavy to fit on an antenna tracker like eagle tree or immersionRC (it's almost 400g itself and 430g with screws and mounting plate).
Regarding the results : it is really not good enough, worse than an omnidirectionnal antenna !! I've also compared it to a 12 dBi patch antenna from another FPV store : the other antenna performs way much better. The antenna from the other store is smaller (12cmx12cm) and much lighter : 119g.
How it was tested : I've let my plane inside my house and I compared the signals with an omni, the HK patch antenna and another patch. Distance from home : 200 meters.

Good price! I think that with this antenna range will depend only on battery power!
