Bought 4 of these.

Fitted to quad, first flight and two of the motors were smoking in less than 5 mins.

Lucky to get the quad down from hover before they let go.

Running these with 4S, 30A ESC, 13x5.5 props, should of handled that no problem..

Time to find better motor supplier

These motors do have a lot of power. I'm running 10x4.5 props on an 1800kg quad and the climb rate is phenomenal! I'm at 5000 ft ASL and some of my smaller store bought quads struggle at this altitude but these motors handle it very well. I have 20A ESCs and they barely warm up. As others have noted the quality control is sub par. I had one minor crash which got a small amount of snow inside one of the motors. I blew it out and kept flying. About 5 minutes later the snow exposed motor gave out resulting in a slightly more severe crash. I dissected the bad motor and the windings appear somewhat sloppy. All things considered this motor has lots of power for the money but quality-wise you get what you pay for.

Perfekt fr 2 Motorige schnelle Modelle um 1,4kg mit 6s, da geht mal richtig die Post ab. Beim Prop aber bitte mglichst nur bis 7x3 gehen, sonst qualmt der Motor ab.

This is a nice motor. I have bought 12 of them to use on my Woodie copters. I run them on 3 or 4s driven by a QBrain 25 amp ESC and 11 inch props. Great combination. It would be nice if this motor came with a "X" mount and bullet connectors.

Hi HK,

I received my motors in good time and they are more than capable for my DeadCat quad but....

2 out of the 4 motors have VERY noisy bearings,
I've had less the 5min's flight and they need fixing....

Are there bearings available for these?

2 of them are having excessive bearing clearance,1 of them is rattling while spinning by hand.

Ottimo rapporto qualit prezzo, solamente in 1 su 20 ho riscontrato un piccolo problema dove un magnete era scollato. Li consiglio per multirotori di medie dimensioni. Buone prestazioni.

Gute Motoren!
Fliege damit einen X666 Quadrocopter mit 30A AfroESC, 12x4,5 Props, 4S Turnigy 5800mAh/25C mit Gesamtgewicht von 1600g.
Power ohne Ende, Flugzeit ca. 20 Min.
Motoren werden etwa 40-50C Grad warm bei heiem Sommerwetter und khlen aber gleich wieder ab.
Verarbeitung ist leider etwas unterschiedlich. 1 von 4 Mototren in der Lieferung weist axiales Lagerspiel auf, luft aber im Moment gut.
Ersatz wurde schon geordert ;-)
Spinner ist nicht austauschbar fr unterschiedliche Drehrichtungen (fest anziehen!!!).
Es sind keine Steckerhlsen an den Anschlusskabeln verltet und mssen seperat gekauft werden!

Fazit: Fr den Preis bekommt man einen guten, recht krftigen Motor, der sich bis auf Kleinigkeiten in der Verarbeitung und Ausstattung zeigen lassen kann.
