Good motor for 2S configuratio

I was looking a suitable motor for 400g 3D foamie which could be used with 7.4V 2S lipos.



Now after several flights I am very pleased with this motor. I am using a 1200 mAh 2S 25C lipos and get 5700 rpm with APC SF 11x4.7 at 15 Amps. Flying time is 10 minutes. From hover the plane rises easily and there is enough power for unlimited vertical... Calculator tells that with this prop and RPM there is 850g static thrust which sounds about correct.



I also tried APC SF 10x5.5 with 3S lipos and then there is more power. Anyway this additional power is not needed at least in my case as the 2S configuration is powerful enough.



So if you have around 400g 3D plane and need a good motor for it to use with 2S lipos - this is a good choice!

Great motor

Great motor, great power, great torque like all AXI's. Use it in my Multiplex ParkMaster with 25A ESC, 3S800 lipo and APC Slowfly 11 X 4.7. All Up Weight 464 gram. Prophanging at 45% thottle and goes (unlimited) vertical like a Ferrari. Although on 3S 10 X 5 is max prop according to AXI, I prefer 11 X 4.7 for this 3D plane. I use full throttle only a few times for let's say 5 sec each flight.

After 7 minute flight motor isn't warm at all.
