Found it, build it up, balanced it, took it out to the field, started and crashed within 0,5sec of flight due to plane inversion. Plane is dead. Seems impossible to fly.

My CAP 232 arrived today. This is my first kit purchased from HK. I am pleasantly surprised at what I got. Shipping and packaging was first rate. Box and parts were in perfect condition. A friend and I bought this CAP and the EXTRA in this series to use as combat planes. It will be a shame if one of they go down in a mid air collision. They are both beautiful.

The kit itself has the best finish of ARF I've ever purchased. No wrinkles, sags, warpage, or loose edges on the covering. The instruction are basic, but clear. First time builders may needs some help, but if you have ever built an ARF, you'll have no trouble interpreting the instructions.

The fiberglass cowling is a little thick, and therefore heavier than probably necessary, but beautifully painted and trimmed out. The only real downside I have been able to notice is that it looks like part of the cowl will have to be cut away to clear the landing gear.

I will update my review after I have built it.

Put in just today Turnigy L2210C-1200 Brushless Motor (150w) with JXF 9x5 prop and maiden flight it. I was very disappointed very unpredictable in the air for flying! Do NOT made expo (elevator) as said in manual!!! Cut it down for 40pcnt (not 30mm but -18mm max). Certainly not my favorite plane! I'll try to improve it somehow,...

Ive flown the Cap 232 (ARF) a few times now and I think is a superb acrobat! It is a lot of fun to fly and will do whatever you expect it to do and dares you to push it further. My set up is: Park 450 motor, 1300mAh 3S 20C, 10x5 props and 20A ESC. I used 8g servos as they fit the narrow wings better. The undercarriage needs strengthening as mine collapsed on a hard landing (grass field). All in all I am happy with the Cap 232 (ARF) and I think it was a great introduction into the world of balsa planes.

I just got this Cap from postage,.. The box was little crushed,..single boxed,.. when I opened it I found main fuselage cracked in 2 places, but I easely repaird the damage with quick glue, the front poliester was dented,.. and the main wings has wrap sheet all crumpled because the balsa was not cut straight! Overall the colors are very nice and the plane is not heavy,...I will put it together and we will see how it fly.

5 stars ..... my only complaint is the lack of a tail wheel. I guess they did not want to pay the person packing tail wheels. Anyway happy flying

Construcao perfeita, tao boa quanto dos melhores fabricantes. Cuidadosamente embalado e tao lindo quanto o da foto. Perfeito!!! So falta voar bem! Recomendo pelo esmero na construcao!
