It's a spare chassis for Rattler in case you F it up by crashing the car on something... say, a big rock. A really, really big rock.
I was hoping for flat surface on the "dustproof box" but apparently it's molded on the chassis and therefore not removable. On the other hand it's 1:1 spare part so can't help it.
