I maidened my Sbach today. First impressions with the build were very good. I liked the quality of the hardware, and the model was light and seemed to be well thought out. HOWEVER, I very nearly lost it on the first flight with full flutter of the tailplane! I was not flying it fast or hard, and it was during a power off, split S that the flutter occured. By the time I got it back on the ground, total flight time would have been less than four minutes, and inspection revealed all the fuselage formers shattered aft of the wing..... I'm going to repair and beef it up, but I'm disappointed that I should need to. I'm running an OS 1.6FX, which has very little vibration when compared to ANY gasser, so I'm shocked with the event. Other than that, the model flew very well and I'd have been well pleased if it had not fluttered.

I wouldn't recommend this model.

WE HAVE BUILT AND HAD THREE FLIGHTS WITH OURS AND ARE VERY IMPRESSED .WE TOO RUN A DLE 30 AND MY SON 3D IT WITH NO WORRIES.WE USED THE SUPPLIED HARDWARE AND HAVE NOT HAD A PROBLEM.TOP VALUE FOR MONEY AND AM LOOKING AT THE YAK 55 NOW AS WELL

Well I finally finished this plane and i am very impressed with the quality.

I used all hardware except the hinges and pull pull cable for the rudder that came with the plane. I replaced the hinges with Pivot & Round Hinges 4.5x67mm. I replaced the cable with 27kg cable and cremps from BCF. I used a DLE 30cc engine with a 20x8 prop and had to make a plan for the standoff as the room between the firewall and cowling was very short. 30cc is more than enough for this plane to 3D.
