Great little servo

I installed this servos on a 5lb plane. The servo is fast and powerful for its size. The only issue I had was the servo arms are not very robust and the output splines on the servo itself are slightly small---making it difficult to get a nice tight fit using other servo arms of the same size. They do center perfectly which more than makes up for the slightly loose fit.

I have these in a small (250 Trex) heli and they work well for my level of flying (not aerobatic). They are great for the price - a good compromise of cost and performance.

are to flimsy,hard to fit,could be bigger

I was looking for relatively small servo for 6DOF robot and DMC809 fits excellent for 2 joints move - there is no intermittance in move as in 5-6 other different servos I already tried. Move is very smooth under 1-2 kG*cm torque - exactly what I need. Not cheap, but totally worth it. Definitely will buy more.

These are my FAVOURITE servo of all time. You may need to use heavier duty arms. I'm using them in high performance and highly aerobatic composite gliders and I've got to say... What's not to love about them for the $$$? An absolute winner! Thankyou HK!
