Hmm where should begin.. its my first "expensiver" Plane i ordered from HK (until this, Bixler, Some gliders and so) but the Quality here is amazing!!! The Details, FOam, Retracts, Servos and so on.. evrything is just alomst perfect :) i like this plane! Good Job HK

Purchased this product through the International Store. When it arrived it had a large dent in the fuselage. Having waited 4 weeks for its arrival I did not want to return it to Hong Kong and wait another 4 weeks plus. I recommend that if your item is available in your home country then order it from there thus the turn around will be a lot quicker if you have to return it.

i got this a1 for xmas this year along with the axn. delivery was great as usual 2 days with 48hr delivery great service from uk warehouse. upon arrival i found that model double boxed and well protected all parts were there and look great after a short assembly time the worst part being the threading on the screws for the main wing three going in fine the fouth refusing to bite so i made do with three the. first flight was perfect flew great even with all ordanace i kept speed high afraid of stall but it went fine shortly after this i had my first problem the flag servos both of which now refuse to work completely so i replaced them with cheap turnigy ones and been fine since then one day i had problems with the landing gear which broke on a gentle landing on a cricket square it is prone to nose over buy props

Excellent plane, looks great, flys well. look up youtube "Durafly A1 Skyraider (1100mm) Performance Demo" for most of what you need to know.

Some things to check:

- Manual doesnt indicate the carbon rod for the elevator...dont forget this!

- Check your centre of gravity. Ours was nose heavy and needed 26 grams in the tail (just use a 35mm nut and bolt and 4x 25mm steel washers does the job if needed)

- Right Aileron press left little meat between the aileron and wing. Needed tape reinforcement.

We hand launch ours due to weeds on grass field. landing is fine.

Excellent model. Really happy with it.

Quick tip... After I received my a-1 and did an inventory on everything, which was fine, I used my heating iron on low setting and went all over the decals on the plane. Some areas were peeling up, so now everything is sealed and stuck down for good.

Great plane to buy. flies great out of the box no trim required.
only flaws with the plane is the props are extremely stiff and very weak.
be sure to at least buy 3 or 4 extra props. or change out to a stronger 2 blade prop.
also if you want extra power go to a 4 cell 2200mah battery! fits perfect.
landing gear sometimes stick. but other then that the plane is very strong

Well, what to say, this is my first Durafly model, and I was a bit skeptical, about everything what you receive for that amount of money.
Well boxed and protected, it was fun to assemble with all nice details.
But my skepticism continued, I was wondering, how stable will it fly with all those bombs and rockets, I thought, that must make some unbalance to the model.
And I was so wrong :)
This model flies so nice and steady, real scale flight, has enough power and agility .... I was actually amazed with maiden . I did not need any trims at all, and landing is so easy with a little bit of flaps deployed. This is the best beginner scale warbird on market.
And in the air it just looks awesome.

This is my first Durafly warbird, and I am really impressed with the quality of the foam. It may not be EPO, but the surface is so smooth, the details are just amazing. Maidened it today with wind at 3-4BFT, the plane flew a bit nervous, but that was mainly turbulence. Had the full ordnance package on the third flight, it slows the plane down just a bit. Flight times with 1/2 and 3/4 throttle is around 7 minutes on a 2200mah 3S pack. Very nice retracts. Flaps are really useful for a nice descent while landing. Short grass or tarmac only due to small wheels. Recommended buy.
