Sugiero que se le agregue un conector adicional para conectar la alarma de bajo voltaje. Acabo de quemar el mio por falta de este accesorio, intentando conectarla termin haciendo una conexin invertida y quem el mando electrnico

Yesterday I tested my original Auto-g with this motor installed for the first time. Result : it crashed. It seems that the rotor spins much slower than without this motor. The reason for this being that the one-way ball bearing is installed in the gearbox. Because of this, the flexible drive shaft rotates with the rotor and slows it down, especially when turning. My Auto-G was flying straith forward, than suddenly rolled right and entered a spin. To recover an autogyro from a spin when flying only 15 - 20m high is impossible, so it crashed nose first, unrepairable, sadly enough.
So if you're flying an Auto-g (first version) I wouldn't recommend this motor !

The ESC on this little motor is crap. Fellow pilot at my field has been thru 2 and I never even got to fly mine before it went dead. And no Hobby King the wires were connected properly. Be aware and ready to replace.

got this to replace the one in the model as after a couple of crashes it started turning slow i will see if i can repair for a spare

Installed really easily. Watch the video from HK and its really simple to follow. Only gripe was my motor was wired backwards. A resoldered the wires and now works perfectly.

Very happy with product...note I found generates heaps of Torque if you switch it on during spot landing...just use it during take off, turn it off moments before lift off...over all great for not having to flick your wrist start it and on much shorter ground...was easy to install on my V1 G

This auto start idea is great, it has decent quality, great value. Unfortunately, the electronic switch is the weak link. Mine gave up after a dozen so flights. So I took it appart and found that the motor is actually a nice DC carbon brushed motor with a nice approx. 16:1 gear box and one way bearing. The electronic switch went dead. I replaced mine with a soft start DC Motor 20A ESC. The stock auto start connector feeds off the flight lipol 11.1 volts and the auto start switch does some DC to DC soft start conversion to activate the rotor slowly to full output voltage. I have a feeling that auto start switch mosfet went out more trouble to troubleshoot when you can simply replace it with a regular soft start speed control. I actaully purchased a second unit so that I can use just the mechanics in case they go bad at a later time.
