Well where do I start with this one.. First the build quality, its not grate. All standoffs are plastic, screws will strip. Upper plate and lower plates are connected just with 4 standoffs its all flimsy and will brake quite easily. The "Bending" feature is a bit useless, as with use the wires from motors to esc will brake. After first power up one motor went out with smoke. Still worked, but I was to afraid to use it, replaced all 4. PDB is nice heavy one, but esc are soldered with 7 pins on 2 sides, as PDB is so thick de-soldering esc's are quite an challange. And speaking about these ESC. They are not branded, replacements are hard to come. BLHeli suite or configurator will speak with them. The only supported communications method is PWM. Well it has BLHeli thats for sure but, version is too old, and doesn't have a proper boot loader to be able to speak with BLHeli suite. That means you will need to reflash them WITH a special interface (SILABS C2, arduino can be used as well). The problem is that debug port is under the ESC so you will need to de-solder them...

ESC are based on:
Skywalker 20A rev 11.2 MULTI
Chip: Silicon Labs C8051F330 (old one, will not support BLHeli_S/DShot)

CC3D is also a F1 board, quite old

TL;DR stay away from this if you want a drone, not an headache, look into something like eachine wizard x220. Similar price, way way better

quad is nice, but no manuals at all, and it is not ARF at all, connected CC3D board and libre Pilot, configred radio inputs, but no output to motor ESC,
spent all evening online to find out that you have to use vehicle setup wizard in order to
make it work,
so not so plug and play,
quad is nice and fly ok, but order lot of spare props if you are new with quads like
me.

this was my first racing quadcopter and it was the most fun i have had in a long time. it is so easy to setup and flys like a dream. I have only used it with point of view. but from what i can guess it works great with fpv.
with the many crashes i had being a first timer it stayed together very well, because it has folding booms it absorbs the impact of the fall and of course i have broken 20 props in the first 3 days of flying but that's me :D
works best with a 2200mah battery i could get 15 minutes with this with out compromising on power.
the only big complate it the landing legs, they made them out of carbon fibre along with the rest of the quad which was a STUPID idea, because carbon fibre is stiff as hell and i was scared to death to put them on let alone taking them of to get it in to the case.

To order other items correctly, detail information is necessary.
Connector size for battery should be mentioned.
And a little bit detail assemble manual should be necessary.
Due to too stiff landing feet, now I cannot assemle them to carbon frame.

I was really looking forward to this quadcopter when I've placed an order in January 2016. The delivery was quick and I was setting it up in open pilot in no time. HOWEVER, after going through all of the setting I found that one of the motors was twitchy. After back and forth emailing following online chat sessions HK sent me a replacement motor. The motor took over a week to get and it was a different colour (ok - not a big issue). HOWEVER the new motor didn't fix the problem! after soldering the new motor to the ESC, it still had the same issue!!! Finally, after spending about 2 hours with the HK online service chat, I've sent the quadcopter back to the warehouse (AT MY OWN EXPENSE!!) for replacement. Finally at the beginning of April (yes - APRIL!!!) I received the quadcopter that took off for 2-3min until it crashed. The FC lost power for some reason (while everything else had the power supply). After removing and connecting cc3d board via the usb I've noticed a hot spot and identified BAD SOLDERING that was shorting the board. Managed to remove the fault with the solder iron and now the quad is flying again. So what can I say - I don't think anyone should go though the same experience... the expectation is that the product that you pay for just works!

Fit to my 3D cameras which I put in front of the frame. It look like an ant when I put VTXs with 2 antennas on top. Nice frame with case, so I can easily bring it anywhere without worry.

Great little quadcopter for someone who doesnt want to build or worry about that part. Downside, when the ESCs go almost impossible to change out. The replacements that HK has are NOT a direct replacement, as you need to ask them about the new pin layout. Great price when the drop it to 50pcnt off sale price, but get it while its on sale, the sale typically ends pretty quick. The feet are extremely hard to snap on in the beginning, and annoying that you need to take them off each time to fit back into the case they designed for it (you would think they would make it fit).

I have had this product for about 3 months it is my second quad this thing is great i have had some hard crashes with it and it still keeps flying great

good little quad just the esc are part of the frame so have fun replacing them when time comes
