Excellent Motors!

I was skeptical when I ordered these because the price was so low, but I decided it was worth the gamble. I was pleasantly surprised with the power and efficiency! They are smooth and powerful, and in my Diatone Blade 200 frame, with 12 amp Afro ESCs, and 1000ma 25C batteries, I'm getting 9-10 minutes of flight time. The same setup with Multistar 1704 1900kv motors would barely get 6 minutes, I was amazed! These are extremely efficient and powerful motors. I intend to buy more.

good on 4s 1050mah 45c lipo and dalprop T4045 (three blade) and TJ4045(three blade).

a higher c 1000mah would be better but my tattu 45c 1050 4s seem to yeild about 4-5 min of flight with the dal t and tj4045 depending on my throttle control with these dys 1806 2300kv motors.

pulling maybe 12a with dalprop T4045 and maybe a little less amp with the TJ4045 (both 3 blade props)

4045bullnose two blades seem ok on 4s also, sorry no amp spec on them bc i like 3blades more.

Also do well on 3s T5045 kingkong props (three blade) but i dont want to run those on 4s bc my 4s are just 45c...

Also tried dal Q4040 (four blade props) but pull about 14-15a which isnt great for my 45c 1050mah lipo. time was about 3minutes with those.

i stop flying at 14.5ish (+/- .1)v.

great motors! i think id like higher kv for 4inch frames but they work well enough for me flying FPV. total wieght of my setup is around 260g plus 120g lipo 380g total

A hardy little motor

Tack a licken and keep on spinning.
Im still learning to fly and doing some great crashes. This little motor has survived multiple nose in the dirt crashes including, one into very wet mud -drove in up to the firewall. One very high speed straidht down into the pavement crash. And thr cream of them all a death spiral into the waterway behind my house, salt waterway.
For the mud bath I just blew it out with a compressor , madd sure there was no small gravel left inside and it was back to working like new.
The saltwater splash took more drastic firstaid. The motor was submerges for 10-15 minutes before I could retreve it by boat, a nice plume of smoke as we approached with the boat pole and net in hand. Aftef removing all the electronics I tossed them in the sink, battery and controller as well
( the battery only had a short bath)
back to the motor..after a long full blast cold freshwater flush I blew it out with the compresssor. Then placed it into a zip lock comtainer full of dry rice. After 24 hours I blew out the rice and plugged it in. Runs like new!
( also, Turnegy I6a receiver and 2 Hobby King micro servos also survived the dip in the bay and freshwater bath, esc and battery didnt make out so well)

bought a x6 package of these coupled with 20a ESCs and 6" props.
all came fairly balanced out of the box, after some testing 2 of them died from over-heat.
please note that from my experience they can handle 4s & 4x3 (2/3 blades) props great,
4s & 5x4 or 3s & 6x4 props (2 blades) produce a lot of heat, apparently to the point they stop all together..
3s & 5x4 (3/4 blades) is acceptable but will produce a fair amount of heat.

Bought several of these DYS motors and now that I'm making time to do this review noticed they've droped another dollar or two. Great smooth running 1806 motors, motor-mounts. These motors are pretty resiliant too still spin freely after several rough crashes. (To clarify rough I means at minimum prop(s) broke)

Quality motors for 250 and lower if you are beginner and low on budget. It can give good thrust with 5' props. Have 8 of this motors and only one had issue with windings. Still i give it five stars for quality/price ratio.

Great little motor for the few flights I've had using them on a ZMR250 clone. Motor is, however, listed here as being 2S-4S capable, but max voltage is shown as 11.1V in the "product config" table. Which is correct ? Are replacement shafts going to be made available ?
