The EagleTree Vector is an amazing piece of hardware!

But, maybe don't get one from HobbyKing.. I asked a 'Product Specialist' if this was the latest hardware version and if it had GLONASS support. The 'specialist' didn't know what GLONASS was, but assured me it was the latest and newest version. I ordered, it arrived. Not only was it not the latest version (so no GLONASS) but it arrived in a package where the factory seal had been broken, it'd then been re-sealed with tape, looked like it had been done more than once. So the unit probably wasn't even new. HobbyKings stance on this is poor, so I was left with the option to dispute the payment via PayPal.

I wouldn't trust HobbyKing on this one, if you want the newest version, buy it directly from the manufacturer. You'll get the latest version and better support for the same price (shipping may vary).

HobbyKing is awesome. I ordered one of these when it was onsale ($158 but on backorder). I received it yesterday, a couple of months on backorder but they sent it to me at the sale price. Great looking unit. I can't wait to try it out. Thanks HK...you're number one in my book from this day on for honoring that sale price.

Excellent product, and reliable. Manual was straight forward available for fixed wing and multi rotor. Really love it!..

p/s : unfortunately had it acquired for 237.99 just before the price down.

Very very good and stable controller. All in one, a lot of options (in OSD e.g.). I use this controler in my film. Is very very stable and OSD is ideal.

I have two, so that a team and an FX79 on a glider, and this is really the best system that I've experienced.

Yes there are better, more accurate etc. But for the money, the Vector is by far the best sport class controller on the market today.

I had issues trying to get a video feed but found the video format of my camera was different some how. It flies very similar to my KDS550 helicopter in 3D head holding and I did my first 360 deg loop with my hecto copter. It sounds like a angry bee when you pull it through the last bit of the loop, Awesome. The on screen display is superb weather you have it in white display or full colour and you can set it to monitor all the batteries gps road speed air speed and what ever you can think of in avionics. You can even setup a second screen which it will alternate through every so many second you like. The RTH safed my hecto a few times now because I can afford to fly it carelessly over a distance loose orientation and just hit the switch and it will fly back and land. Whoohoo
