Its kind of a good controller. I bought 3 of these but sometimes the OSD seems not to boot. They are overall good enough.

I've only used a few flight controllers, I'm still pretty new at this, but this is the easiest to set up of those I have used. It flies my Nighthawk 200 frame beautifully with all stock settings. All the time that I usually spend tuning, I was able to spend flying, and that is fantastic! It took some work to figure out how to use the OSD, but it's working great now. For some reason the battery 1 pad is considered the video battery and battery pad 2 is the main voltage. A bit counter-intuitive, but not impossible to figure out. Many of the OSD features must be turned on via the OSD menu accessible through the sticks on the tX.

Speaking of which, being able to make PID adjustments through the goggles with the tX is awesome! But like I was saying, I haven't had to utilize this feature since it flies my quad so well. I have used it to access features in the OSD like throttle value and amp draw.

I do wish that HobbyKing would carry the advanced version + OSD. The barometer and magnetometer would be welcome additions to this chip. I'm looking to buy one, HobbyKing. It sure would be nice if I didn't have to look far. (hint hint)

Seemed like a good quality flight controller but after fiddling with settings and trying to get anywhere with the OSD I got nothing. Couldn't get any kind of signal out no matter what. I would buy the advanced version next time for the compass, but I didn't even get to try this one out other than the day of troubleshooting and eventually just hooking up a minimosd and turning on the serial output and even then I switched back to a CC3D

Stick to naze or CC3D, this is an offbrand FC.
